The office is in the oldest part of the house. It was originally two smaller rooms, but the center wall was later removed, leaving the exposed ceiling beam. The office has been used by the heads of the Ward household for farm business and for their public offices. The framed documents on the walls are the appointments of the family members in military and political offices.
